BBC announced a lineup of special programming for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Through a digital, TV and audio coverage, the BBC will provide global audiences with a comprehensive look at what is set to be biggest ever Women’s World Cup tournament.

On the official site, audiences can follow along with live text commentaries, breaking news, results, previews and post-match reports from journalists on location in Australia and New Zealand, as well as analysis from BBC Sport pundits, predictions, visual guides and infographics, and a look back at the first-ever Women’s World Cup in 1991.

The BBC News channel will feature highlights and analysis in the build-up to and during the tournament with correspondents Katie Gornall and Jane Dougall on location.

Across audio coverage, the BBC will offer special podcasts throughout the tournament, available on all major podcast platforms. BBC’s ever-present, Football Daily will focus its full attention on the tournament with daily episodes featuring a mix of match reaction and previews, interviews and on the road recordings from down under. Football Daily is also available ad-free BBC Podcast Premium (available only on Apple Podcasts). Beginning July 17th, World Football at the Women’s World Cup will see BBC World Service Sport’s Mani Djazmi, Maz Farookhi and Katie Smith go behind the scenes with all 32 teams in Australia and New Zealand. Airing episodes three times a week, the podcast will cover the global story with the colour, drama, sounds and stories through the voices of the players, coaches, fans and people who are closest to the tournament.
