Bengaluru: BHIVE Workspace, India’s fastest-growing premium coworking and managed office brand, has announced the appointment of Esha Ranjan as Chief Projects Officer (CPO). This strategic leadership move comes at a critical juncture as BHIVE accelerates its operational readiness ahead of its planned IPO in 2026, amid rising investor interest in the flex-space sector.
Esha Ranjan brings over two decades of global project delivery experience and has led the execution of over 8 million sq. ft. of commercial real estate across India, Australia, and New Zealand. Her portfolio includes landmark projects for global giants like Google, LinkedIn, and IKEA, and her expertise spans CapEx management, vendor strategy, and design governance.
With a proven track record in scaling high-growth operators, Esha’s appointment is aligned with BHIVE’s vision of becoming an institutional-grade workspace leader. She previously led the Projects function at Smartworks during a critical scale-up phase and most recently held a leadership role at Incuspaze. Her background in working with investor-backed workspace brands makes her well-suited to BHIVE’s rapid expansion plans.
At BHIVE, Esha will be responsible for project execution, CapEx optimization, vendor management, and the rollout of scalable governance frameworks to support national expansion and IPO readiness.
“What drew me to BHIVE was the founder Shesh’s bold and clear vision for what the future of workspaces should look like,” said Esha Ranjan. “BHIVE is not just a workspace provider, it’s a lifestyle-led brand. My goal is to drive scale and systemization while making execution a strategic advantage.”
“With Esha joining the leadership team, we’re doubling down on operational excellence and IPO readiness,” said Shesh Rao Paplikar, Founder & CEO of BHIVE. “Her experience with institutional-grade execution and her ability to lead high-performance teams will help us scale in the right direction as we move toward our 2026 IPO.”
Esha’s appointment comes at a time of heightened activity in India’s flex-space sector. With Smartworks and AWFIS already going public, and players like WeWork India and IndiQube reportedly preparing for IPOs, the industry is witnessing a surge of interest from institutional investors. BHIVE too has seen increasing inbound interest and Esha’s addition signals its commitment to sustainable and scalable growth.
She will also lead design standardization in line with BHIVE’s lifestyle-focused brand ethos — “Elevate Your Lifestyle at Work” — a vision that seamlessly integrates premium design, wellness, and productivity into the next generation of office spaces.
