BIG FM recently concluded season 8 of BIG Golden Voice, a talent hunt for aspiring singers. Renowned singer Javed Ali served as the judge and mentor of the season.
The competition featured a multi-platform approach for auditions, allowing contestants from over 50 cities to participate. The contestants showcased their singing skills on-air, and the Top 50 finalists were selected. The Top 10 finalists were mentored by Javed Ali in Mumbai.
During the competition, the contestants faced a challenge to sing without background music or instruments, relying solely on their raw vocals. In the finale, Abhik Saha from Asansol, West Bengal emerged as the winner and received the opportunity to feature alongside Javed Ali in a music video.
