Bangalore: Cargill has announced key leadership appointments to strengthen its operations and growth strategy in India. Ravinder Balain has been named Country President for Cargill in India, while Dheeraj Talreja joins as Vice President and Managing Director, Food South Asia. The strategic appointments aim to enhance operational excellence, deepen customer focus, and deliver innovative solutions across South Asia’s food and agriculture sectors.
Ravinder Balain, who joined Cargill in 2024, will lead India operations in addition to overseeing the Animal Nutrition & Health business in South Asia, ensuring delivery of high-quality nutrition solutions through brands such as Purina, Provimi, and Vetcare. With over 33 years of experience in agrisciences and marketing, Balain has previously held senior roles at Corteva Agrisciences and DuPont.

Dheeraj Talreja brings over two decades of experience across food ingredients, specialty chemicals, and manufacturing. He will focus on driving innovation, operational excellence, and customer engagement across South Asia.
