Gurugram: Cars24 has unveiled a refreshed brand identity, marking a significant milestone in its evolution as it prepares for its next phase of growth ahead of a potential IPO. The rebrand reflects the company’s transition from a fast-scaling transaction-led platform into a long-term car ownership ecosystem focused on trust, continuity and deeper customer relationships.
Founded in 2015, Cars24 entered a fragmented and opaque market with an assertive, all-caps identity—CARS24—designed to break through resistance and drive early adoption. As the platform matured, customer engagement shifted from one-time transactions to repeat interactions across life stages, prompting a need for a brand expression that better reflected this evolving role.
“When we started, being loud helped,” said Vikram Chopra, Founder & CEO, Cars24. “But as the company and the team grew up, the work started speaking for itself. This change is about reflecting who we are today, calmer, more human and focused on earning trust over time.”
The refreshed identity transitions the brand from CARS24 to Cars24, adopting sentence case to signal maturity, confidence and approachability. At its core is a new open circular logo, designed to represent continuity rather than completion, mirroring the evolving nature of car ownership where vehicles change hands, needs evolve and value flows across different life phases. The open form underscores flexibility, movement and ongoing relationships.
Cars24 has also introduced a new brand colour, moving from its familiar blue to a brighter, clearer “younger blue.” According to the company, the updated palette reflects its intent to appear more present, attentive and human, reinforcing the belief that trust can feel warm and accessible, even at scale.
Developed over more than 1,200 hours of design and iteration, the refreshed identity is built around simplicity, longevity and adaptability. While the company’s products and services will continue to evolve, the new visual language is intended to remain relevant as Cars24 enters a more mature phase of growth.
The rebrand also strengthens Cars24’s long-term vision of Better Drives, Better Lives, reaffirming its commitment to helping customers make smarter decisions around buying, selling and owning cars, while building systems that remain useful as needs change over time.
