Mumbai: Castrol India, an automotive and industrial lubricants company, has announced the appointment of V Kaushik Vedula as Vice President – Marketing, effective 2 February 2026.
In his new role, Kaushik will join Castrol India’s management committee and lead the integrated marketing organisation, with responsibility for brand development, media strategy, and consumer research. The appointment comes at a time when the company is navigating a rapidly evolving media landscape and shifting consumer and shopper behaviours driven by digital channels.

Kaushik’s expertise in scaling digital businesses and implementing digital-first consumer engagement models will be instrumental in elevating our engagement with consumers and partners, while ensuring the brand remains at the forefront of technology-led product innovation.”
Kaushik brings over two decades of experience across consumer goods, fast-moving consumer durables, and digital-first businesses. He has led marketing, new business development, and P&L portfolios across large corporates as well as entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently, he served as Vice President – Marketing at Emami, where he oversaw brand and business strategy across multiple categories. Prior to that, he built and scaled a digital product business at Quess Corp after spending seven years running his own B2B2C venture.
Earlier in his career, Kaushik worked with Procter & Gamble and Nokia, gaining extensive experience across brand management, category development, consumer marketing, and multi-channel sales.
