Chtrbox wins two golds for ‘Best use of influencers’ at SAMMIE Best Social Media Brands Award and Summit

Mumbai :Chtrbox.com –India’s leading influencer marketing company won two gold SAMMIES at the 2nd edition of Social Media Brands Award and Summit by Social Samosa for their groundbreaking campaigns for Nokia under the “Best Use of Influencers on Facebook” category as well as for Whisper (P&G) under the “Best Use of Influencers on Instagram”.

These pioneering awards in the Influencer Category are of particular note because this further establishes the importance of Influencers and Content Creators in Social Media Marketing. Chtrbox was the onlydedicatedinfluencer-marketing agency to win at the event, which was selected by an esteemed jury, and jury chair Siddharth Banerjee, EVP Marketing, Vodafone. The SAMMIES received over 230 nominations From 120 brands across 19 categories and 14 special categories.

Chtrbox’s award-winning campaigns for both Whisper and Nokia stood apart because they helped take the brand campaigns and turn them to people-powered movements, and influencer efforts were instrumental in inspiring user generated content and participation at scale. While the campaigns were led by 1000+ micro influencers, mega influencers like Radhika Apte (actress), Kenny Sebastian (comedian), Shalmali Kholgade (singer), Brodha V (rapper), Jonita Gandhi (singer), Neha Sharma (doodle artist), KaneezSukra (comedian), Barkha Singh (VJ/Actress), Sonnalli Seygall (Actress), Harnidh Kaur (Poet),Sejal Kumar (influencer)and Kubra Sait (Anchor/Actress) also participated in the campaigns.

The #Sammie Summit honoured human brands that created path-breaking work in the digital spectrum and also held panel discussions and knowledge sharing sessions which curated conversations on upcoming trends, challenges and opportunities in the industry.It witnessed informative sessions by stalwart such as BBH India’s Subhash Kamath, Linkedin’s Virginia Sharma, Youtube India’s Bhaskar Ramesh. Chtrbox CEO, PranaySwarup, Chtrbox CEO also moderated an interesting panel discussion on The Content and Influencer Marketing Journey with Malini Agarwal aka MissMalini, Vyom Charaya (Director Brand Solutions TVF), and Hitesh Pardeshi (Head, Filtercopy).
