Mumbai: Cleartrip, a Flipkart company and one of India’s fastest-growing online travel platforms, has announced the elevation of Gaurav Patwari to Chief Business Officer – Air.
In his expanded role, Gaurav will not only lead Cleartrip’s B2C Air business but also oversee the company’s B2B, Flipkart Travel, and Train businesses, further strengthening Cleartrip’s leadership in India’s dynamic travel segment.
With over two decades of experience across aviation, travel, and financial services, Gaurav brings deep industry knowledge and a strong track record in P&L management, sales, distribution, and business development.
At Cleartrip, he has been instrumental in scaling the Air business, driving revenue growth, and pioneering customer-first innovations such as Visa Denial Cover. His earlier leadership stints at Go Airlines, ATE Group, and GE Capital reflect his expertise in building high-performing teams, turning around businesses, and creating strong partnerships in competitive markets.
