Mumbai : Hindi GEC ‘Colors’ has appointed Creative Director Deepak Chhabria as fiction programming head. It seems Chhabria has joined Colors almost a month back and reports directly to Manisha Sharma.
Colors CEO Raj Nayak and Deepak Chhabria confirmed the development to Media. Chhabria, who had been associated with Star for eight long years, was heading the creative aspect at Star Plus.
During last October Prashant Bhatt who was heading the fiction programming in Colors has quit and he has recently floated a Production House on his own.
Colors had split its programming unit into two separate teams to bring more focus on content for weekdays and weekends. Wherein, Bhatt was in-charge of the weekday fiction programming and Sharma was responsible for non-fiction content.
Soon after the exit of Prashant Bhatt, Colors assigned Manisha Sharma with extra responsibilities to manage the entire programming department of the channel.
