Bengaluru : Colors Kannada has pulled back the Kannada reality format Bigg Boss from its rival Suvarna and set to run Bigg Boss Kannada 3 (BBK3) in its platform from mid October.
Season one of Kannada Bigg Boss was done by ETV Kannada. It stated on 24th March 2013 and the finale was on 30th June 2013. Vijaya Raghavendra was the winner of the first edition. Season 2 shifted to Suvarna TV. It started on 29th June 2014 and ended on 5th October 2014. Akul Balaji was the winner. Sudeep was the host for both the seasons on two different channels.
Aparently, Sudeep will be reprising his role for third season as well. Colors Kannada has released the promo which shows the handsome hunk Sudeep seen singing a song which summarizes with Bigg Boss.

Market sources confirm that Colors Kannada has signed INR 20 crore deal with the actor Sudeep to host next five seasons of Bigg Boss Kannada. The amount is said to be a new record in South India.
Earlier, Sudeep suffered family disputes during September 2015 and it was speculated that he will be walking out of the show. This was confirmed false by Sudeep himself shortly after the speculations emerged.
Colors Kannada is yet to unveil the contestants of Bigg Boss Kannada 3 and what is going to happen in the house of BBK3, the format theme of the new season and the prize money etc…
Sources also confirm that Bigg Boss Kannada 3 will be shot in Innovative Film City at Bidadi, Bengaluru as the Bigg Boss house, located in Lonavala is believed to be omitted for this season as the same was already occupied for the shooting of maiden season of Big Brother China.
Bigg Boss Kannada 3 on Colors Kannada will be produced by Endemol India, which owns the international format of the show Big Brother.
