Colors is all set to bring a riveting new tale of forbidden love, titled ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’. Produced by Inspire Films (a Beyond Dreams company), the show premieres on 13th February and will air Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ is a story of a girl next door Eisha and the werewolf brothers Armaan and Veer who test the dangerous limits of love and survival. The romantic fantasy will be spearheaded by the promising trio of Karan Kundrra, Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Sameer Shaikh.

The show features top talents from the entertainment industry, with music composed by Pritam, stunts by action director Tinu Verma, and the dance is choreographed by Nishant Bhat.

Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Head, Hindi Mass Entertainment and Kids TV Network, Viacom18, said, “Introducing a variety of entertainment and canvassing stories that have never been told on television before is the cornerstone of our vision at COLORS. We are proud to have pioneered the fiction fantasy genre on Indian television and deliver hits that have enraptured the audience. This genre has inspired a fan following in a way that’s unique to the channel. Bringing yet another gripping tale, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal is themed on the dangerous limits of forbidden love. We hope to push the envelope of making a universe for a never-seen-before romantic fantasy drama and enthral our viewers.”

Set in the mystical town of Landsdale, ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ revolves around Eisha, who’s madly in love with Armaan and has a strong connection with his brother Veer. Both the brothers are werewolves, who have been rivals since they felt betrayed by each other. A century later, it appears that history is about to repeat itself for the brothers. While Armaan is struggling to keep his promise to safeguard Eisha’s loved ones as other werewolves have started coming to town, Veer ridicules Armaan for rejecting their legacy of violence. With the residents of Landsdale preparing to get rid of werewolves, an imminent peril endangers the town. As the fate of the world rests on their shoulders, do Eisha, Armaan, and Veer have what it takes to put their conflicts aside and rescue each other?

Manisha Sharma, Chief Content Officer, Hindi Mass Entertainment, Viacom18 says, “We take great pride in presenting the most exhilarating fantasy and supernatural concepts to our audiences. We are delighted to present yet another grand saga, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, set in a fantasy world and premised on the concept of forbidden love. While the concept promises to challenge the creative space, the one-hour slot, Monday- Wednesday will disrupt the viewers’ appointment viewing habits. We are excited for the audience to experience and be introduced to its mystical universe of fascinating creatures, forbidden love, and endless drama. With the talented trio of Karan Kundrra, Gashmeer Mahajani, Reem Sameer Shaikh, and an exceptional storyline, we are certain to live up to viewers’ expectations.”

Producer Yash and Mamta Patnaik from Inspire Films (a Beyond Dreams company) say, “Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal is centred on two werewolf brothers who are at loggerheads with each other and love the same woman. It’s a compelling love triangle challenged by unforeseeable threats, and it’s shot in scenic locales of Mussoorie, Dehradun and Mumbai. We are extremely excited about collaborating with COLORS for a story that touches upon the perpetuity of forbidden love and the definitions of wrong and right in a world that’s different from ours. We’re looking forward to presenting the grandeur of the mystical world captured in the show and exploring the choicest creative heights in production, art direction, visual appeal and VFX through this show.”
