Mumbai: CureBay, a hybrid healthcare platform transforming last-mile access to affordable, high-quality healthcare in India’s underserved regions, has announced the appointment of Siddharth Agrawal as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). The move strengthens the company’s leadership team as CureBay scales operations and accelerates its transition toward a nationally scalable rural healthcare delivery platform, supported by its expanding multi-state presence.
Siddharth will lead operations, drive scale, and strengthen CureBay’s national expansion strategy. His appointment marks the company’s next phase of growth — evolving from a high-growth startup into a structured, nationally scalable rural healthcare platform.
CureBay is expanding its rural healthcare infrastructure across multiple states through a growing network of eClinics, its on-ground Swasthya Mitra workforce, and a digital-first care delivery model designed for Bharat’s last mile. The company currently operates over 175 eClinics across Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, supported by more than 230 doctors, 400 skilled healthcare workers, and partnerships with over 210 hospitals and laboratories.
CureBay Quantum, the company’s AI-powered platform, enables smarter, faster, and more efficient healthcare delivery by using data to guide care and operations. To date, CureBay has reached over 2,51,000 villages and towns, served more than 10,32,000 customers, and facilitated over 1,10,000 subscriptions, reflecting rising demand for affordable, technology-enabled healthcare in underserved regions.
Siddharth brings over two decades of leadership experience across global FMCG majors and high-growth consumer tech platforms, including OLX India (part of CarTrade Tech), OLA, Unilever, and Perfetti Van Melle. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale operating and growth initiatives, built scalable operating systems, driven market expansion, and spearheaded digital-first go-to-market transformations across domestic and international markets.
As COO, Siddharth will oversee CureBay’s end-to-end operations, including network scalability, supply chain optimisation, operational efficiency, and execution across regions. The company’s expansion roadmap includes scaling its eClinic network, strengthening the Swasthya Mitra ecosystem, and integrating technology-led solutions to extend affordable care deeper into underserved communities.
Commenting on the appointment, Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Founder and CEO, CureBay, said, “CureBay was born with a vision to bridge the healthcare gap in India’s underserved regions by providing affordable, high-quality, technology-enabled care. Siddharth’s appointment strengthens our leadership team and will help further shape our operations and expansion as we continue to extend care to more communities.”
Siddharth’s experience in scaling consumer and technology-led businesses is highly relevant to CureBay’s current phase. His focus on operational discipline and structured growth will be critical as we expand our presence across Bharat and strengthen a scalable healthcare delivery model.”
Speaking on his appointment, Siddharth Agrawal, Chief Operating Officer, CureBay, said, “I am joining CureBay at an exciting stage, with initiatives like CureBay Quantum and Kavach already making a meaningful difference in underserved communities. I look forward to supporting the team in continuing this momentum and helping scale the impact of their work nationwide.”
In his role, Siddharth will focus on strengthening CureBay’s operating engine to enable sustainable, large-scale expansion, while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality across its healthcare network. He will work closely with leadership teams to scale CureBay’s model and deepen healthcare access across underserved regions in the years ahead.
