New Delhi: Print Media giant DB Corp that publishes flagship newspapers DainikBhaskar, DivyaBhaskar, Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar, announced major changes in its Digital Business. With a view to develop and sharpen its focus on the digital business, DB Digital, the Digital division of the Group will be split into two segments namely Content and New Video App Venture Platform.
While the Group websites will continue to operate under the Content division, DB Corp Ltd will set up a new video app venture platform of the Group, which should be launched soon.
Further, Mr. PradeepSingh, has been appointed as the new Business Head of the Digital business. Pradeep Singh comes with an exhaustive experience of 20 years in various media houses like Hungama Digital Media Entertainment, Zee News Ltd, Zapak Digital Media, HT Media, Business Standard Ltd, Pioneer etc. In his current role he will be responsible for driving revenue for the Digital Business of DainikBhaskar Group
Gyan Gupta, the former CEO of DB Digital, will head the Video App venture of the Group. He has been associated with the DB Group for more than 8 years and has played an instrumental role in Conceptualizing multiple unique features and properties and introducing path-breaking initiative for the brands. Gupta has also donned multiple leadership roles in the past 3 years ranging from business head to COO and CEO.
The two of them in their individual roles would be reporting to Mr. PawanAgarwal, Deputy MD, DB Corp Ltd.
