Mumbai: Anita Kotwani has resigned from her role as Chief Client Officer (CCO) of Dentsu South Asia, marking the end of a significant chapter in the network’s leadership. Kotwani, who joined Dentsu in 2020 as CEO of Carat India, went on to assume multiple senior roles, including CEO–Media South Asia in March 2023, before taking charge as CCO earlier this year. In her latest role, she oversaw group-wide client partnerships spanning media, creative, customer experience management (CXM), and sports, gaming, and entertainment.
During her tenure, Kotwani played a pivotal role in strengthening client relationships, driving integrated solutions, and elevating Dentsu’s media capabilities across the region. Her leadership was instrumental in the group’s new-business momentum and in shaping strategic collaborations across the network.
Before joining Dentsu, Kotwani spent over 15 years at Mindshare India, holding key leadership positions and building a strong reputation in media optimisation and high-impact client management. Her earlier experience at Initiative (Lintas Media Group) further cemented her credentials, working with major brands and contributing to significant business wins.
Dentsu South Asia has not yet announced Kotwani’s successor.
