PitchWorx is one of the fastest-growing creative agencies in India, focused on creating visually stunning presentations and animated videos. Founded in 2012 by Dharmendra Ahuja, the agency was bootstrapped and has grown multifold since its inception. PitchWorx has worked with over 500 start-ups, SMEs, large corporations, government organizations, and many among others.

Started with creating professional business presentations, the agency has expanded its range of services to include web design as well as brand communication material. Driven by creativity and passion, the in-house team of creative professionals brings together over 1 million person hours of design experience.

PitchWorx believes that the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has fuelled the growth of a few sectors like e-learning / online education, design, pharma, healthcare, and insurance sectors. Additionally, the conventionally operated businesses are undergoing digital transformation to adapt to the new normal.

With massive investments that the businesses are putting in their online channels has helped design agencies like PitchWorx to grow multi-fold during the pandemic times.

Dharmendra Ahuja, Founder & CEO, PitchWorx, talks about how PitchWorx came about, their work and the way forward in the new normal.

It has been 8 years, how has the journey been for PitchWorx?

Founded in 2012, our business is ventured into services like animated videos, brand communications, website designing, and development. We work for startups, SMEs, large corporates, and government organizations. After the span of 8 years, we have acquired many clients both from India and overseas. Currently, we have a team of 40 people and we have been profitable YoY.

Can you explain what PitchWorx does for its client

We are a graphic design agency with more than 1 million hours of experience. We have worked with more than 500 clients. From pitching to investors, brand promotion, presentation designing, animation video, live video shoot, website designing, or any other thing, we ensure to deliver strong audience-oriented messaging.

When you say you deliver values through ideation and offering creative solutions aligned with the brand strategy, can you elaborate on this?

We believe that everything must tell a story be it be a start-up investor pitch, a corporate presentation, an animated explainer video, a website, social media graphics, or a simple brand communication collateral. We try and create the pitch which gets the attention it needs.

The pandemic has changed and more and more brands are going digital, how will PitchWorx operate in this scenario?

The pandemic has changed the way the world operates, as a result of which sentiment for online businesses has gone up. It pushed the existing business culture to rethink and transform digitally to sustain. We have helped both start-ups and large organizations to transform digitally with the help of digital presentations, animated videos, websites, and digital communications. With exponential growth in demand for digital content, we’ve in fact hired new people during the pandemic and we are looking to hire more resources as we grow.

Way forward for PitchWorx?

The company has expanded both vertically and horizontally. Vertically, PitchWorx opened new geographies in the UAE and Australia. While horizontally, the company is close to launching a B2C online platform which will automate the entire design process.

As part of our long-term goals, we are moving towards becoming a go-to-design company that creates the most effective marketing pitches.

Where do you see yourself in the next 3 years?

Over the last 8 years, we have worked with clients across India, North America, Australia and the UK. While we are exploring newer geographies, we have contracted representatives in the UAE and Australia already and have aggressively started marketing efforts in regions if focus. We intend to open offices in the USA and UK to target a wider client base in North America and Europe.

On a parallel front, we are close to launching Nimmio, is an online platform for quick access to pre-designed and fully-editable PowerPoint slides for individuals and smaller companies/start-ups with limited or no access to design resources and skills. As part of future plans, Nimmio will include designs and graphic assets for social media posts, illustrations, resume, invitations, brochures/flyers and other collaterals, created specifically for marketing communication and other messaging needs.

How are brands going to communicate in this new normal?

The pandemic has changed the way the world operates. It has pushed the existing business culture to rethink and transform digitally to sustain. It has also made people cautious from sentiment and business standpoint. With the need for taking businesses online, both start-ups and large organizations are going digital.
