Devraj Sanyal, who previously served as the MD & CEO for Universal Music India & South Asia, has now been elevated to the position of Chairman and CEO for the same region.
In addition to this new role, Sanyal has also assumed the position of SVP – Strategy for AMEA.
Sanyal has been part of Universal Music India since 2011. Before joining Universal, he held the position of Group CEO at Percept Sports & Entertainment, where he oversaw divisions such as music, events, television, intellectual properties, branded content & entertainment, and talent management.
