After successfully captivating its audience for 15 years, Zee Tamil is now kickstarting Diwali celebrations early as it gears up to present its biggest award show, Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal 2023. Ladies and gentlemen, mark your calendar for the most dazzling and star-studded extravaganza of the year, on Tamil television. Zee Tamil celebrates your favourite stars, the pinnacle of skill, originality, and entertainment, by bringing all the stars under one roof. This year’s Kudumbam Viruthugal will see the participation of numerous cinema stars and Zee Tamil actors, resulting in a starry affair that unites the big and small screen like never before. The award show will be telecasted in two parts, and the first part will be telecast this Sunday, 5th November from 1:00 pm, only on Zee Tamil.
The annual award show – Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal – will honour the achievements of innumerable performers, directors, producers, creative teams, and technicians who work nonstop to keep everyone entertained. It will start with a glitzy red-carpet event which will see stars in their best attires from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm. During this time, viewers can watch all their favourite stars walk in and talk about Zee Tamil and the prestigious award show. From popular Tamil movie actors such as Karthi, Vishal, Jai, Arya, Jayam Ravi, Prashanth, Parthiban, Manoj Bharathiraja, and actresses like Dhansika, Shradha Sreenath, Surbi, Megha Akash, the veteran producer Kalai puli, S. Thanu, Director Vetri Maran, Director P Vasu, and Director Suseenthran, the celebrities will be seen enchanting the audience as they put their fashionable foot forward during the red carpet of Zee Tamil Kutumba Viruthugal.
In fact, during the award show’s shoot – Ashika Padukone from Maari looked breath-taking in a golden traditional saree which she paired with traditional jewellery, while Soundarya Reddy from Meenakshi Ponnunga looked mesmerising in a long, eye-catchy, flare dress on the red carpet. Senthil from Anna also slayed the red carpet in a traditional dhoti and shirt, looking incredibly handsome. On the other hand, Janani Ashok from Idhayam wore a sky-blue full-length flare kurti, looking all wonderful, while Sasi Laya from Meenakshi Ponnunga looked beautiful in a black saree with stylish white shoes.
The adorable on-screen couple, Kanmani Manoharan and Arun Padmanaban from Amudhavum Annalakshmiyum, also colour-coordinated their outfits. The beautiful actress was seen in a white bodycon dress, while Arun Padmanaban complemented her with a black shirt and white pants. The red-carpet event will truly be a gala affair for viewers to witness as their favourite stars ooze royalty with their selection of outfits.
Post the red carpet, Zee Tamil will telecast the main event from 1:00 pm to 5.00 pm, and the award show promises an evening of glamour, recognition, and celebration. The one award category of Zee Tamil Kudumbam Viruthugal which the audience look forward the most are the “Favourites” category, since awards in this category are selected by the viewers themselves. These awards include “Favourite Actor”, “Favourite Actress”, “Favourite Villain”, “Favourite Mother-in-law”, “Favourite Pair” and “Favourite Show”. This year, the channel made a host of voting channels, both traditional and modern, available for its millions of viewers to register their choice at their convenience. Viewers could register their vote via missed calls or on the Zee5 app. Zee Tamil also flagged off a door-to-door canter that travelled across all districts of Tamil Nadu, enabling millions more to have their say in the winners of these awards.
