Mumbai: The finals of DP World PGTI’s 72 The League powered by IndusInd Bank – India’s first team-based professional golf league – will be telecast live on Eurosport in India.
After five league matches played across Classic Golf & Country Club and Jaypee Greens, the final of the inaugural 72 The League will be played at Qutab Golf Course on Friday, March 6. Action will be broadcast live on Eurosport India from 10 am.
Eurosport will also telecast highlight packages of the league on 14, 15 March followed 21, 22 March from 3 pm.
72 The League is a new addition to the professional golf ecosystem, with the inaugural season featuring six teams, comprising 10 players each.
The teams are Charminar Champions, Kolkata Classics, Mumbai Aces, Nava Raipur, Rajasthan Regals and UP Prometheans. The top two teams following the League stage will clash for the top honours, which will come along with a winner’s cheque of INR 1 crore. The runner-up team will be awarded INR 50 lakh.
72 The league has been launched by DP World PGTI in partnership with Game of Life Sports (GOLS).
Going into the fourth round of the league stage, which is being played today at Classic Golf & Country Club, Ajeetesh Sandhu-led Rajasthan Regals are tied for the lead with the Shaurya Bhattacharya-captained UP Prometheans at 32 points.
