Mumbai: Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a FMCG conglomerate and diversified multi-business corporation, has announced the appointment of Subrat Chakravarty as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Corporate.
In his new role, Chakravarty will spearhead the Group’s Human Resources function and lead its people and process transformation agenda across businesses.
Chakravarty brings over 30 years of extensive and diverse experience in human resources across leading global organisations. A seasoned HR transformation leader, he has a strong background in global HR operations, talent management and organisational design. Over the course of his career, he has worked with companies such as HCL Technologies, Aon Hewitt, L&T Infotech, IPCL and Bata India. His leadership experience includes aligning people, purpose and performance to drive sustainable growth, while leveraging HR technology, data analytics and human judgment in strategic decision-making.

Chakravarty holds a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi.
