New Delhi: In a pioneering move to standardize and enhance digital marketing practices in India, Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a leading FMCG conglomerate and multi-business corporation, in collaboration with WPP Media, has launched DCODE – The Guide to Digital Marketing.
This first-of-its-kind comprehensive playbook blends academic frameworks with practical applications, delivering actionable systems, processes, and templates. Covering every critical facet of digital marketing—from Paid Media, Social Media, and Influencer Marketing to SEO and Online Reputation Management (ORM)—the guide distils extensive research and analysis into a robust framework designed to elevate industry standards. The playbook will be openly available for download, enabling marketers, students, and digital enthusiasts to access and apply its insights.
The launch event featured panel discussions and keynote sessions that explored the purpose, development, and unique client-agency collaborative approach behind DCODE. Recognizing the complexities of India’s fast-evolving digital ecosystem, DS Group spearheaded the initiative, with WPP Media contributing its expertise to ensure the playbook reflects both practical application and industry-leading standards.

India’s media and advertising landscape is projected to grow by 7% in 2025 to ₹1,64,137 crore, with digital leading the charge at 11.5% growth, capturing 60% of the market share. Against this backdrop, DCODE aims to address industry challenges such as fragmentation, inconsistent methodologies, inefficiencies, and missed opportunities, while offering a resource that will be continuously updated to stay relevant in India’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
