Weddings are certainly the moments that need to be celebrated with all fervor. There is nothing more sacred than coming together to commemorate the union between two individuals, and wishing them a gracious start for their life together. While weddings are the most special affair for any to-be-married couple, the planning can certainly take a toll on the bride, groom, and their respective family members. From struggling to find suitable vendors within their budget, and paying exorbitant amounts to still being unsure about the quality of work, wedding planning comes with a myriad of challenges.

To address the numerous complexities and maintain the financial stabilities, Betterhalf- India’s professional wedding company has recently conducted a survey on all its social media platforms to reveal the expectations of millennials from this wedding season. More than 400 millennials participated in the survey, unveiling their top wishes from wedding service platforms to ease their onus of stressful wedding planning.

According to the survey, 38.90% of millennials look for ease of wedding planning. With over 170 millennials voting for ease of wedding planning, this burgeoning number clearly demonstrates how straining wedding planning can be for the bride and groom, significantly hampering them from enjoying their special day. Thus, there is a pressing need for a one-stop solution that binds together the fragmented wedding services market.

Commenting about the comprehensive wedding planning services, Pawan Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of Betterhalf said, “Being cognizant of the demand for reliable wedding service vendors among urban professionals, we have ventured into the wedding services segment dedicated to become the go-to wedding service platform for the bride and groom-to-be. On the other hand, as per the survey report, 28% of millennials want a prime wedding venue as their top wedding requirement. A top-notch wedding venue can certainly add opulence to a wedding, but selecting an elaborate and luxurious wedding venue can make a hole in the pocket, leading to future financial turmoil. The survey also revealed that 23% of millennials chose guest experience and 10% chose professional vendors, as the most pressing demand. There is no doubt that the to-be-wed couple wants their guests to indulge in an immersive experience. Further, to deliver an immaculate experience, it is pivotal to engage professional wedding vendors capable of providing top-notch fun and entertainment services from music to mehendi artists, caterers, make-up artists, and decorators to all the guests bestowing the wedding with their presence.

The survey sheds light on the various wedding expectations of millennials, with a majority of them wanting ease of wedding planning, followed by prime venue selection, impeccable guest experience, and professional vendors. Furthermore, the millennial generation is focused on their money goals, hence, they seek holistic solutions that can bring their dream wedding vision to life, without disturbing their finances.
