Mumbai: Edme Insurance Brokers Ltd has appointed Nitin Firke as Managing Director – Reinsurance, to further strengthen its leadership team and reinforce its commitment towards building a robust reinsurance practice in India and beyond.
Firke brings with him an exceptional track record of 27 years of professional experience, including 22 years in the insurance and reinsurance domain. Prior to joining EDME, he held senior leadership roles at some of the industry’s most respected organizations, including Mahindra Insurance Brokers Ltd., where he served as Chief of Reinsurance; ICICI Lombard General Insurance, as Senior Vice President – Head of International Business; and ICICI Bank UAE, where he led international business operations as Deputy General Manager.
His strategic vision, deep domain knowledge, and global exposure make him uniquely positioned to lead EDME’s reinsurance vertical. At EDME, Mr. Firke will be responsible for driving innovation, building global partnerships, and delivering value-added solutions to clients through advanced risk transfer mechanisms and reinsurance advisory.
