Gurugram: Efficacy Worldwide, a full-service advertising and marketing agency, has announced key leadership appointments as part of its expansion strategy across India. The agency has named Somnath Sarkarr as National Investment Director, Prajesh Dutta as National Director – Strategy & Innovation, and Raj Choudhary as Business Head for South.
These senior appointments, the company said, will deepen leadership capabilities and accelerate its multi-vertical approach across digital, influencer, performance, media, and experiential marketing.

As National Director – Investments, Somnath will lead an integrated portfolio of digital (programmatic, search, video) and traditional media investments. His mandate includes driving strategic media buying across platforms to deliver measurable business outcomes, while also leading negotiations, strategic partnerships, and cross-channel investment strategies. Somnath began his career with Madison World and has held leadership roles at Vivaki Exchange and Lodestar UM. Most recently, he spent nine years at Initiative, where he served as Vice President – Investment.
With over two decades of experience, Prajesh will take charge as National Director – Strategy & Innovation, focusing on driving strategy, empowering teams, and optimizing P&L. An industry veteran, he joins from Madison World and has held key positions at Wavemaker, m/SIX, Maxus, and GroupM.
Raj, who steps in as Business Head – South, brings 13 years of experience across media and content marketing. He joins from History TV18, where he was Regional Head based in Bengaluru. His career includes stints at Zee Media, Indian Express, Warner Media, Network18, Sony Pictures, and Network India, with expertise spanning branding and content-led marketing solutions.
