Windsor: Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) has successfully concluded its first large-scale India Campaign for eFootball™, culminating in a star-studded community meet and greet in Mumbai. The finale underscored eFootball™’s long-term commitment to India’s rapidly growing gaming ecosystem, bringing together fans, celebrities, and sporting icons under one roof.
Running from August to December 2025, the India Campaign engaged thousands of Indian gamers through a mix of in-game initiatives, national tournaments, and on-ground community experiences celebrating sport and culture. Special tournaments such as the Independence Cup and Diwali Cup drew strong participation, helping eFootball™ establish one of the country’s most active and engaged football gaming communities.
A key highlight of the campaign was the introduction of an exclusive in-game jersey designed by acclaimed artist Santanu Hazarika, along with a special in-game card featuring Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri. Created to celebrate India’s growing presence on the global gaming stage, the collaboration blended art, sport, and gaming, resonating deeply with Indian fans.
The campaign culminated in a grand Mumbai meet and greet attended by hundreds of fans. The event featured interactive gaming activities, community challenges, autograph sessions, and photo opportunities with celebrity guests including Sunil Chhetri, KL Rahul, Ahan Shetty, Washington Sundar, and Focused Indian.
