New York: Omnicom Media, a connected capability of Omnicom (NYSE: OMC), has announced the appointment of Ellen Griffin as Global Brand President of OMD, the world’s largest media agency network. The move reinforces the group’s strategy of placing experienced practitioner-leaders at the forefront of its global agencies.
The announcement follows closely on the heels of Bradley Rogers being named CEO of OMD USA, signalling a broader leadership reshuffle aimed at strengthening client-centric operations across markets.
In her new role, Griffin will lead OMD’s global strategy, capabilities, and service solutions. She will be responsible for ensuring that teams across markets are equipped with the tools, talent, and technology needed to drive growth for clients, the agency, and its people.
Griffin succeeds George Manas, who transitions to Omnicom as Chief Growth and Solutions Officer.

Commenting on the transition, Florian Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media, said, “George has been an exceptional steward of the OMD brand over the past four years. Under his leadership, OMD significantly strengthened its position as the world’s best-performing media agency, with RECMA recognising it as ‘more than ever the leader’ in its latest Diagnostic Report.”
During Manas’ tenure, OMD secured multiple global accolades, including being named Media Network of the Year at Cannes Lions three times, with consecutive wins in 2024 and 2025.
Griffin brings nearly a decade of leadership experience within OMD, having joined the agency in 2018 as Global Innovation Director. She later served as Global Chief Client Solutions Officer, where she played a key role in building customised client solutions powered by the Omni Intelligence Platform—contributing to over $2.5 billion in net new business wins. As the agency’s first Global COO, she also led the development of future-ready operating models across its global client base.
Highlighting Griffin’s credentials, Florian Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media, added, “She brings deep experience in marketing transformation, having worked closely with leading brands such as Clorox, McDonald’s, and PepsiCo. Her leadership will ensure that OMD agencies globally leverage Omnicom Media’s strengths in data, commerce, identity, and talent to unlock growth for clients.”
Griffin assumes the role at a time of rapid transformation in the marketing ecosystem, driven by evolving platforms, expanding commerce channels, and the increasing role of AI in shaping consumer engagement.
Sharing her perspective, Ellen Griffin, Global Brand President, OMD, said, “In today’s dynamic environment, clients need partners who can help them navigate both visible and emerging challenges. By connecting insights, platforms, data, and media strategy, OMD enables clients to anticipate change, unlock new growth opportunities, and act with confidence.”
Her appointment is effective immediately.
