Tokyo: UNIQLO has announced a new global partnership with Emma Raducanu, Britain’s top-ranked female tennis player and 2021 US Open champion. Raducanu becomes the latest Global Brand Ambassador for UNIQLO and will represent the brand at all tennis tournaments beginning with the Indian Wells Open in the United States this March.
Raducanu, who became the first British woman since 1977 to win a Grand Slam singles title at the US Open, joins an elite roster of UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassadors. The line-up includes tennis legend Roger Federer, wheelchair-tennis icon Shingo Kunieda, and Academy Award-winning actor Cate Blanchett.
Through the partnership, Raducanu will promote UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy, which centres on the continuous pursuit of excellence, meaningful contribution to society, and support for the next generation. In addition to representing the brand on the global tennis circuit, she will actively collaborate on the design and functionality of her on-court apparel.
Speaking of the announcement, Raducanu said, “I am very pleased to join UNIQLO and to work closely with its amazing team of Global Brand Ambassadors. I am excited to promote LifeWear through my tennis career, and to working with everybody at UNIQLO to inspire and engage young people everywhere.”

As part of her ambassadorial role, Raducanu will participate in global community engagement initiatives, including the UNIQLO Next Generation Development Program, which provides coaching opportunities for talented young tennis players and supports athletes from underserved communities. She will also contribute to broader social impact initiatives such as UNIQLO Peace for All and The Heart of LifeWear programs.
The partnership underscores UNIQLO’s continued investment in global sport, youth development and purpose-driven brand building, leveraging Raducanu’s global appeal and next-generation influence to advance its LifeWear vision worldwide.
