Chennai: enGen (previously Thryve Digital Health), which operates a dedicated GCC for a leading US health insurance plan and hospital network, has announced the appointment of healthcare technology veteran Manoj Kapoor as its new Chief Executive Officer in India. In this role, Manoj will lead enGen’s India operations and drive its expansion as a center of excellence for value delivery, innovation, and client success.
enGen has steadily grown its presence in India as a strategic hub supporting global payers and health systems. With expertise across product & platform engineering, data and advanced analytics, digital operations, and clinical services, the India team plays a pivotal role in enabling cost-effective and scalable outcomes.
Manoj’s appointment underscores enGen’s commitment to strengthening its leadership as it embarks on the next phase of growth. With over three decades of experience across healthcare technology, venture investment, and business transformation, Manoj brings extensive expertise in scaling organizations, shaping product portfolios, and driving innovation.
Most recently, Manoj served as Vice President, Growth & Transformation at Providence India, where he led efforts to transform business operations, uplift efficiency, and enhance patient and caregiver experiences. He has also held senior leadership roles at Optum, including leading the Optum Startup Studio India and heading product engineering, product management, and research & innovation at Optum Global Solutions. Earlier in his career, he worked with RoundGlass Partners, Edifecs, CGI, Dell Services, and Perot Systems, contributing to technology-led transformation and business growth initiatives.

Manoj holds an MBA in Finance from the Faculty of Management Studies and an MSc in Operations Research from Delhi University.
