Mumbai: Equirus has appointed Snigdha Sharma as Director in its Investment Banking vertical, reinforcing the firm’s strategic focus on the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector, which has seen strong momentum in fundraising and merger and acquisition activity.
Snigdha brings more than 17 years of experience across investment banking, equity research and investment management, with a particular focus on the BFSI segment. Her experience includes working on IPO listings, equity funding transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and fundamental research. She has also worked as a fund manager and buy-side analyst, giving her a well-rounded perspective across capital markets and investments.
She holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Indian Institute of Science, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Raipur. She is also a NISM-certified research analyst.
Prior to joining Equirus, Snigdha has worked with leading financial institutions including DAM Capital, Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company, Axis Capital, Fidelity Worldwide Investment, Karma Capital and Goldman Sachs.
