Chennai : Eros International has secured worldwide distribution rights for a regional movie with Chennai based movie Production House Studio Green owned by KE Gnanavelraja. Eros has picked rights of an upcoming Tamil movie, ”Masss” which is directed by Venkat Prabhu.
The supernatural thriller movie will be released by June-July 2015. With this announcement, Eros continues to strengthen its presence in south and tap the potential of Tamil industry by leveraging its strong tie-ups and attractive film content. The cast of the movie ”Masss” includes Suriya and Nayanthara.

In recent past Eros International is aggressively signing movie distribution deals in South. It has roped in Super Star Rajini Kanth’s daughter Saundarya Aswin as the Head of Operations for South couple of Months before and struck the distribution deal for ”Lingaa”.
Followed by that they have signed multiple project deal with Director Lingusamy’s Production House ”Thirupathi Brother” to start with the rights of Kamal starrer ”Utthama Villan” which is likely to be launched shortly. The aggressiveness of Eros International has pushed the phase of business activities of another Corporate house UTV Motion Pictures, which has actively involved in the South movie business. However, in recent times UTV (Disney UTV) is hardly seen in any movie deals in South film Industry except few projects under Production.
