ET NOW unveils mega diwali programming special: “Samvat 2082 – Save, Invest, Prosper”
Share Share ShareShare

Mumbai: As India welcomes the festive season, a barometer of economic sentiment, consumption and market vitality — ET NOW, India’s leading English business news channel, announces its Mega Diwali coverage, themed “Samvat 2082: Save, Invest, Prosper.”

The Diwali programming special –presented by SBI Bank and co powered by SBI Life Insurance and Polycab–includes a slew of specials ranging from advice from the most renowned investment gurus to answers on viewers’ stock queries to short, medium and long term market opportunities. These programs run this entire week right up to Monday, October 20th, and culminate in the Grand Muhurat Trading special the next day on October 21st.

Given that this year’s Diwali comes amid a confluence of powerful economic tailwinds — GST rate cuts across key sectors and the government’s renewed focus on easing household financial burdens, the timing marks a rare intersection of policy reform and peak consumer activity, making it a crucial moment for investors, businesses and consumers alike. In the week-long lineup of exclusive programming, ET NOW will decode the pulse of India’s economy, assess investment sentiment, and empower viewers with insights from India’s most influential market voices, CEOs and fund managers.

The details of the programs include INVESTMENT GURUS features India’s most renowned investors, including Atul Suri (Marathon Trends), Hiren Ved (Alchemy Capital), Venugopal Garre (Bernstein), Ramesh Damani (Member, BSE), and Rajeev Thakkar (CIO, PPFAS Mutual Fund), decoding philosophies and outlooks for Samvat 2082.

CONSUMPTION PULSE explores India’s festive spending patterns across automobiles, FMCG, retail, jewellery and real estate, with industry stalwarts such as Santosh Iyer (Mercedes-Benz India), Pushpa Bector (DLF Retail), Harsh Mariwala (Marico), B Thiagarajan (Blue Star), Manoj Verma (Bikaji Foods) and Neeraj Walia (Montblanc India) analysing the country’s consumption story.

DEAL OR NO DEAL offers live answers to viewer stock queries to guide smarter trading decisions, followed by dual editions of ‘FUND’TASTIC MANAGERS, delivering expert fund strategies from the country’s top mutual fund leaders, including Radhika Gupta (Edelweiss MF), Aniruddha Naha (PGIM India), Aashish Somaiyaa (WhiteOak Capital), Prashant Jain (3P Investment Managers) and Sailesh Raj Bhan (Nippon India MF). Other noteworthy shows include COMMODITY CENTRAL, which tracks gold, silver, energy and agricultural trends as global commodities hit new highs, and CRACKER STOCKS, which identifies short, medium and long-term market opportunities through “Safe Sparklers,” “High-Risk Rockets” and “Value Bombs.” The line-up culminates with THE MONEY SHOW, blending personal finance, investor behaviour and India’s cultural philosophy of wealth creation. All the shows will also be viewable throughout the week.

The festive special continues with marquee one-hour and primetime features. On October 15 at 4:30 PM, ET NOW REALTY RECKONER offers a deep dive into real estate — from metros to emerging cities, rentals, REITs and property as an asset class. On October 17 at 7:00 PM, The ULTIMATE SNAKES & LADDERS captures the thrilling highs and lows of India’s financial markets through the year — from corrections to milestones that shaped investor sentiment. The grand finale is on October 21 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, when ET NOW presents its grand MUHURAT TRADING SPECIAL, the auspicious session that marks the beginning of the new Samvat year, bringing together market experts Nilesh Shah (Envision Capital), Sunil Singhania (Abakkus Asset Manager LLP) and Vijay Kedia (Private Investor) to share wealth insights and lead live trading coverage with India’s most respected investors.
