Flipkart forays into kids fashion with the launch of its own label, Miss & Chief with 70+ unique styles

New Delhi: Flipkart Fashion, India’s largest online fashion store, announces the launch of its in house label for kids – Miss & Chief. A celebration of childhood and that period of life that brings back the sweetest memories, Miss & Chief, blends trends in fashion with a comfort style. Meant for kids in the age group of 2-10 years, Miss & Chief, offers a variety from a mix of sporty apparel, colorful designs to princess party dresses. The launch comes at a time when kids fashion is witnessing a huge upsurge among customers across the country.

In the run up to the launch of Miss & Chief, Flipkart engaged with customers in a fun yet meaningful way by announcing the hunt for a Chief MissChief Ambassador. The instagram contest saw a tremendous excitement from parent customers submitting the most mischievous stories of their kids.  As a part of the contest, the winning entry stood a chance of being featured on the Flipkart app and website along with a Miss-Chief-ous wardrobe makeover by Flipkart.

Launching the new in-house label, Mr Rishi Vasudev, Head of Fashion at Flipkart, said “Kids fashion is one of our fastest growing categories, where we have witnessed a 100% Y-o-Y growth. This is a testimony to a huge potential this market offers. Gone are the days when parents decided their kids’ looks. The market has evolved with kids fashion becoming mainstream. This offering from the house of Flipkart Fashion builds on the vision of being a one stop destination for all fashion needs”

He further added, “With the launch of Miss & Chief, we are looking to address the needs of our youngest fashion consumers while at the same time, offering great quality and value for their money.”

The collection features a wide range of checkered tops, tees, shirts, bottom wear, dungarees, denims, party wear and sleepwear. The label offers clothing under 3 different collections: The Play Collection, Wild Things Collection and The Princess collection. The Play collection, as the name suggests is sports inspired range with cool varsity prints. Wild Things is all about explorations and animal prints to make the kid carefree and go all out with his/her mischief. The Princess Collection is a range of embellished party dresses for all the missies out there, that lets girls be princesses in their own right!

And lastly, the brand would have a range of STEM toys ranging from remote controlled cars, musical and educational toys at competitive prices that would surely make learning a fun-filled experience.
