Mumbai: &flix is all set to bring the premiere of The Emoji Movie this Sunday, June 17 at 1 PM & 9 PM. Directed by Tony Leondis, the animated movie stars the voices of T. J. Miller, James Corden, Maya Rudolph, Anna Faris, Steven Wright, Christina Aguilera, Sofía Vergara, Patrick Stewart and many other popular artists.
A complete joyride for all animation lovers, The Emoji Movie, is an adventure comedy that takes place in Textopolis, a world inside a smartphone that’s inhabited by different emojis. Its citizens are emojis, each of whom have only one expression. But Gene (Miller) is not like the rest, being blessed with a multitude of expressions. Determined to become ‘normal’, Gene enlists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 (Corden) and the notorious code breaker emoji Jailbreak (Faris). Together, these unlikely heroes embark on an epic ‘app-venture’ through the apps on the phone, each its own wild and fun world, to find the code that will fix Gene.
