FOX International Channels (FIC) has expanded the duties of Michael Dick, VP of acquisitions, to now include all of the Asia Pacific and Middle East, effective immediately.
Previously, Dick’s position only included oversight of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. He is now charged with acquiring content for FIC’s entertainment channels across the region, which includes the U.S. series networks FOXCrime, FX and FOX; the Hollywood movie channels FOX Movies Premium, FOX Family Movies and FOX Action Movies; and the female-skewing general-entertainment network StarWorld.
Dick is also now responsible for securing lifestyle programming for the Nat Geo channel brands. He will collaborate with each network’s programming head and each market’s GM on FIC’s overall content acquisition strategy for the region and execution of agreements.
In his expanded role, Dick is working under Joon Lee, FIC’s executive VP of content and communications for the Asia Pacific and Middle East, and managing director for Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
