Ayushman Chiranewala, CMO, Dr. Agarwals Group of Eye Hospitals was crowned Medianews4u Gamechanger 2022 in the South – Brands category at the awards ceremony in Chennai on 31st May 2023.
The fifth edition of the annual event recognising path breaking contributions in the space of advertising, media and marketing awarded winners in 13 categories.

The GameChanger 2022 Award for South – Brands is conferred on Ayushman Chiranewala, CMO, Dr. Agarwals Group of Eye Hospitals:
- For spurring Agarwals’ growth story backed by a spate of acquisitions across states, taking the count to over 147 hospitals across 11 countries, with a stated target of 200 hospitals in two to three years.
- For augmenting discoverability with digital push, while eyeing and achieving scale.
- For making the Chennai-headquartered eyecare chain a trusted destination for generations through core product, service and brand.
Accepting the award, Chiranewala, said, “Thanks a lot Medianews4u and the team. I think I am just accepting this award on behalf of the entire Dr. Agrawal’s team. Some fabulous work is happening at the company. I joined it about a year and a half back. We are really there to change the eye care industry, one hospital at a time. We are growing by almost 50 pc in terms of our spread, looking at repeating it, adding another 50 plus hospitals in the next one or one and a half years. I am happy to accept this on the behalf of the company.”
