Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced a leadership realignment as part of its refreshed operating model, reinforcing its strategy to operate as a content-first, platform-agnostic and multi-lingual entertainment company.
As part of this reorganisation, Gaurav Laghate has taken charge as Head – Corporate Brand, PR and Corporate Communications. In his expanded role, Laghate will lead the company’s external relations mandate, overseeing corporate brand positioning, media relations, reputation management and strategic communications across stakeholders.
The appointment aligns SPNI’s communications function with its evolving business priorities, as the network sharpens integration across television and digital platforms. Laghate’s mandate will be critical in shaping a unified corporate narrative, strengthening brand trust, and ensuring consistent messaging across consumer, industry and institutional audiences.
With corporate communications elevated as a strategic function, SPNI is signalling the importance of reputation, clarity and brand purpose as it navigates its next phase of growth in a rapidly converging media landscape.
