GlobalLogic appoints LuJean Smith as Chief Marketing Officer

New Delhi: GlobalLogic Inc., a Hitachi Group company and a leader in digital engineering, has announced the appointment of LuJean Smith as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). A veteran marketing strategist with 30 years of global experience across the technology and consulting sectors, Smith joins the company as it enters a new phase of growth driven by AI-led and digital innovation opportunities. She reports directly to Srini Shankar, President and CEO of GlobalLogic, and her appointment is effective January 6.

In her new role, Smith will lead GlobalLogic’s global marketing strategy, with a mandate to strengthen the company’s brand positioning and accelerate growth. Her focus will include showcasing GlobalLogic’s advanced AI capabilities, including its VelocityAI suite of AI-powered service offerings, while also highlighting the company’s collaboration and synergies within the Hitachi Group in line with Hitachi’s “Inspire 2027” management plan.

Smith brings with her a distinguished career spanning three decades, having held senior marketing and communications leadership roles at global organisations including GE, Siemens, Accenture and Cognizant. She is known for strategically positioning companies for sustained market leadership, translating complex innovation into compelling customer value propositions, and building strong corporate narratives that create competitive advantage.
