New Delhi: Google’s Chief Business Officer and senior vice president Nikesh Arora has resigned as independent director from the board of telecom service provider Bharti Airtel. He has been replaced by Dinesh Kumar Mittal, a former bureaucrat, the company said in a statement here on march 13, 2014.
Mittal had retired as secretary, department of financial services, in 2013.
Bharti Airtel said Mittal, a 1977 batch UP cadre IAS officer, is taking over as additional director in the category of independent director.
