Mumbai: GoQuest Media, an independent global distributor of entertainment content, has partnered with producer Sachin Pandey, creator of JioHotstar’s record-breaking Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar, to co-create and jointly own a new true crime series, ‘Insaaf Files – Bharat Ka Fightback’.
This partnership marks GoQuest Media’s third original production following the international success of its Turkish dramas Kuma (The Other Wife) and Arafta, which have gained strong traction across multiple global markets. With Insaaf Files, GoQuest brings its proven production and ownership model to Indian content, providing producers with a unique opportunity to co-own intellectual property and generate long-term value.
Under this collaboration, GoQuest Media and Sachin Pandey will jointly own the IP of Insaaf Files, positioning it as a long-term content asset capable of creating sustained value across global markets. The series will be distributed through dual revenue channels: B2B licensing to broadcasters and streaming platforms worldwide, as well as direct-to-consumer monetization via YouTube.
Vivek Lath, Founder & Managing Director of GoQuest Media, said, “We’re excited to bring our successful make-to-sell model to India with Insaaf Files. The collaboration with Sachin Pandey offers a unique opportunity to co-own the IP, develop it with global distribution in mind, and share in the ongoing success across multiple markets. With Sachin, we’re not just commissioning a show, we’re building something with lasting value.”
Sachin Pandey added, “Insaaf Files – Bharat Ka Fightback is a project that’s deeply connected to the need for justice and the resilience of ordinary citizens. I’m looking forward to seeing how the YouTube-first approach works alongside traditional distribution methods. This partnership with GoQuest is an exciting opportunity to create something meaningful, and I’m thrilled to see how we can engage audiences through multiple channels and global markets.”
Pandey’s recent hit, Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar, emerged as the most-watched and most-subscribed show on JioHotstar in 2024, underscoring the creative strength driving this collaboration. With Insaaf Files, GoQuest Media aims to replicate its international success in India, leveraging its dual revenue model and expertise in co-owned IP to build a scalable, globally relevant content franchise.
