New Delhi: Green Gold Animation, the creator of India’s most beloved homegrown character Chhota Bheem, has announced a strategic partnership with EBG Group to launch India’s first-ever Chhota Bheem Themed Cafe in Hyderabad. This first-of-its-kind venture combines entertainment, dining, and retail to create a complete family experience, with an investment of ₹200 crore over the next three to five years.
Hyderabad, home to Green Gold Animation’s headquarters, has been chosen for the launch, with the first two outlets opening in Hitech City by December 2025. From here, the concept is set to expand nationwide before venturing into global markets.
The cafes will debut in two formats: a compact express model (25 x 40 ft) and a larger full-scale format (50 x 40 ft). Initially operating under a Company-Owned, Company-Operated (COCO) model, franchise partners will provide investment while EBG oversees operations, branding, and training. The venture aims to open 300 cafes across India, starting with 50 outlets in 2026, and is expected to generate 250+ jobs across multiple functions.
Designed as a child-centric destination, the cafes will feature beloved characters such as Chhota Bheem, Chutki, and Mighty Raju, with interactive play zones, storytelling corners, licensed merchandise, and engaging activities. The concept ensures not only fun but also a safe, healthy, and enriching environment for families.
