Pune: Hansgrohe Group, the globally renowned Black Forest-based manufacturer of premium bathroom and kitchen solutions, today announced the appointment of Abdulkader Bengali as Managing Director for its India operations, effective August 18, 2025. Bengali brings over 25 years of distinguished leadership in the construction and building materials industry. Most recently, as Senior Vice President at Sintex BAPL, he successfully led the Water Management Solutions division with ambitious growth targets. Earlier, as Chief Operating Officer at ALP Aeroflex, he played a pivotal role in a major business transformation. His international perspective was further strengthened during his tenure heading Owens Corning’s India and SAARC operations.
A gold medalist in Engineering from NIT Surat and an Executive MBA graduate from SP Jain, Bengali is widely recognized for his ability to deliver business turnarounds, drive sales excellence, and optimize operations to achieve sustainable growth.

The appointment comes at a crucial juncture, as India’s bath fittings market is projected to reach USD 11.49 billion in 2025 and grow at a CAGR of 7.74% to touch USD 16.67 billion by 2030. Within this, the luxury fittings segment is set to nearly double from USD 5.27 billion in 2024 to USD 10.93 billion by 2032, fueled by rising disposable incomes and rapid urbanization.
