Mumbai: HBO is all set to premiere the fifth instalment in Michael Bay’s special effects-driven blast-fest franchise, Transformers: The Last Knight on 17 June 1pm & 9pm, a mega blockbuster that combines sci-fi, legends and an epic battle for infinite power.
Mark Wahlberg returns as Cade Yeager, the Texan inventor who allies with the Autobots. The esoteric space sorceress, Quintessa, reveals herself to be the antagonist who brainwashes Optimus Prime and deploys him to retrieve an ancient, powerful staff from the lands of Earth. What follows is an adrenaline-pumping confrontation involving the Deceptacons, Autobots and humans – a fight for mankind’s very survival.
