Udaipur : On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Hindustan Zinc (NSE: HINDZINC), the world’s largest and India’s only integrated producer of zinc and silver, has launched an impactful internal wellness campaign titled #WeHearTheQuiet. The initiative is designed to foster a culture of empathy, emotional support, and psychological safety at the workplace.
Targeting over 3,500 employees, the campaign emphasizes the importance of recognizing unspoken signs of stress and anxiety — a tapping foot, a sigh, or a quiet “I’m fine” — that often go unnoticed in busy work environments. With this initiative, Hindustan Zinc reinforces its commitment to employee well-being as a fundamental component of professional success and safety.
Leading up to the launch, the company released a three-day digital teaser series on its social media platforms, encouraging viewers to pause and reflect on subtle emotional cues. The main campaign film, released on October 10, powerfully delivers the message: “When we notice the silence and act, no one carries their struggles alone.” The campaign will continue throughout October, encouraging open dialogue around mental health among employees, partners, and communities.
In line with global sustainability practices and aligned with the International Council on Mining & Metals (ICMM)’s performance expectations, Hindustan Zinc has also introduced immersive wellness initiatives. These include health tracker charts, sound therapy tools such as healing bowls, confidential online counselling sessions, and a digital detox hour featuring walk-and-talk breaks and quiet reflection over coffee.
