Mumbai: Hitachi Vantara, the data storage, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud management subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., has announced the appointment of Wendy Koh as its new Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific region, effective immediately.
Based in Singapore, Koh will lead the company’s technical sales strategy across Asia Pacific, as Hitachi Vantara capitalizes on the growing demand for AI-enabled data and hybrid cloud storage. She will oversee regional sales teams, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and execute strategic initiatives to accelerate adoption of the company’s products and solutions, including its flagship Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One) unified data platform. Koh reports directly to Adrian Johnson, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Americas and Asia Pacific at Hitachi Vantara.

Koh brings more than 30 years of experience in IT consulting, strategy, infrastructure management, project management, and partnership development. Before joining Hitachi Vantara, she was Executive Vice President for Southeast Asia at Capgemini, and has held leadership roles at Cisco, Juniper, and NetApp, focusing on networking, infrastructure, strategic partnerships, storage technologies, and cloud-based software. She has a proven track record in driving technology and digital transformation initiatives across government and private sectors.

In addition to her role at Hitachi Vantara, Koh serves as an independent, non-executive director at ASMPT Limited, a Singapore-based company designing and manufacturing machines and tools used in the semiconductor and electronics assembly industries.
