New Delhi: HT Media Limited on Tuesday reported a steady performance for the second quarter of FY26, posting a 4% year-on-year (YoY) growth in revenue from operations to ₹499 crore, up from ₹479 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company also managed to narrow its consolidated loss to ₹4.3 crore from ₹6.3 crore in Q2 FY25, signalling an improvement in operational efficiency.
The publishing major’s print business remained the key growth driver, contributing ₹358 crore to the topline — a 7.1% YoY rise. Advertising revenue in this segment climbed 10% to ₹278 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to ₹258 crore a year earlier. The print business also saw a sharp improvement in profitability, with operating EBITDA margins expanding to 11% from 6% in the year-ago quarter.
The company’s digital operations continued their upward trajectory, with revenue from the segment rising to ₹60.8 crore in Q2 FY26 from ₹55.5 crore in Q2 FY25.
However, the radio broadcast and entertainment vertical faced pressure, reporting a revenue decline to ₹32.2 crore compared with ₹35 crore in the same period last year.
Overall, HT Media’s total income stood at ₹499 crore for the quarter, with notable gains in print and digital segments helping offset softness in radio. Losses also narrowed from ₹11.3 crore reported in the previous quarter (Q1 FY26), reflecting sequential improvement in cost management and operational performance.
