Mumbai: The India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) has released a cause-related advertisement calling for urgent contributions to support the victims of the devastating floods in Punjab.

Speaking about the initiative, Abhishek Karnani, President of IAA, said, “Punjab is reeling under the worst floods in decades. The death toll and flood damage is huge. This is the time when all of us should rise up and contribute to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund. IAA has always believed that communication is a force for good. This is one more such example.

I thank Anupama Ramaswamy, Managing Director & Chief Creative Officer, Havas Creative India who immediately responded to our request for creative support and came up with this creative rendering of an appeal. Also thanks to Iman Sengupta Senior Art Director for his contribution to this effort.
I now appeal to our friends in the media to help spread the good word.”
The creative for the campaign has been designed by Havas Creative India, reflecting the urgency of the situation and the need for collective action.

As the world’s only globally-focused integrated advertising trade association, the IAA continues to leverage the power of communication to address societal issues, mobilise communities, and create awareness for meaningful causes.
