Apurva Chandra IAS, Secretary, Ministry Information and Broadcasting (I&B), has been assigned additional charge as Secretary, Ministry of Department of Telecommunication (DoT), effective August 1, 2023.
Chandra assumed charge in the I&B Ministry in August 2021.
At the DoT, Chandra replaces K Rajaraman IAS, who relinquishes charge of the post today, July 31, 2023.
Chandra will assume charge till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, said an order from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
