Mumbai: The Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI) has announced the appointment of Pranav Kapadia as its Deputy Secretary General, effective February 2, 2026. The appointment comes at a time when the Indian insurance sector is witnessing rapid digital transformation alongside evolving regulatory frameworks.
In his new role, Kapadia will focus on strengthening IBAI’s mission of safeguarding broker interests while promoting a more transparent, efficient, and consumer-centric insurance ecosystem. He will also play a key role in deepening engagement with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) and other key industry stakeholders.
Shri. Kapadia brings over 17 years of multidisciplinary experience across the insurance sector, with hands-on expertise in finance, compliance, and governance, and close working experience with insurance brokers. His integrated exposure provides him with a strong understanding of industry challenges, positioning him to effectively represent the broking community in policy and regulatory discussions.
