ITC Candyman redefines storytime with AI-created personalised storybooks

Chennai: ITC Candyman, the much-loved confectionery brand celebrated for its playful spirit, vibrant flavours, and mischievous charm, has launched a unique initiative for children – “Once Upon a Time by Candyman.” With this innovative platform, the brand is setting a new benchmark for immersive, child-centric brand experiences in India.

In today’s fast-paced, digital-first world, parents often struggle to find meaningful ways to engage with their children. Aimed at strengthening the parent-child bond by blending creativity with technology, “Once Upon a Time by Candyman” allows parents to create AI-powered personalised storybooks where children feature as the heroes of their own tales.

Available via the Candymanclub website, parents can select from a range of pre-set stories filled with lovable mischief and epic adventures. With just a few clicks, a child’s name and photo are seamlessly integrated into the storyline, transforming them into the protagonist of delightfully illustrated books.

Speaking on the launch, Anuj Bansal, Vice President and Head of Marketing – Chocolates, Coffee and Confectionery, Foods Division, ITC Limited, said, “With ‘Once Upon a Time by Candyman’, our goal is to spark children’s imagination and make reading storybooks an exciting, interactive experience. Kids often see others playing the hero’s role, but this time the spotlight is on them and the story is all about their little adventures. By letting children see themselves as heroes of their own story, we hope to create lasting memories while inspiring a lifelong love for storytelling.”

The platform is designed to be user-friendly, safe, and secure, offering parents a seamless way to turn reading into an unforgettable family moment. By combining AI-powered personalisation with fun storytelling, ITC Candyman has created a first-of-its-kind experience that brings joy, creativity, and a sense of wonder into every household.
