New Delhi: ITV Network has appointed Akshansh Yadav as the Chief Product & Technology Officer for its Digital Business. With over a decade of experience, Yadav has worked with prominent media brands including ABP News, Zee News, and the India Today Group, where he was most recently associated.
Beyond his media expertise, Yadav also brings fintech and direct-to-consumer (D2C) experience. His tenure at Canara HSBC Insurance saw him play a pivotal role in launching their digital business in India. Additionally, his experience with Insurance Dekho and CarDekho adds to his comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape.
In his previous role as Chief Product & Technology Officer at IDPL (Zee Media), Yadav spearheaded various digital transformation initiatives. His leadership led to the successful revamps of WION News and Zee Business mobile applications, along with the redevelopment of the DNA site—efforts that resulted in a significant surge in traffic and user engagement.
An alumnus of Rajasthan Technical University with a degree in Computer Science Engineering, Yadav also holds an MBA from MICA, India’s premier business school. Further enhancing his credentials, he has a licentiate degree in Machine Learning from Harvard University.
Yadav has been at the forefront of digital product innovation, utilizing artificial intelligence-driven content personalization and recommendation engines to boost user engagement and revenue growth. His deep understanding of the AI ecosystem and strong business acumen have consistently translated into substantial value creation throughout his career.
