Mumbai: In a major boost to its sports content slate, JioStar has announced that it has secured the exclusive broadcast and streaming rights for the US Open Tennis Championships in India for the next five years. The agreement, facilitated by the USTA’s media rights agency IMG, will bring every match from the iconic USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center live to Indian audiences via Star Sports Network and JioHotstar.
This landmark partnership marks another key addition to JioStar’s growing roster of top-tier global sporting events, making it the exclusive Indian home of two of the four Grand Slams.

Reigning champions Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka will return to defend their titles in what is expected to be a spectacular fortnight of tennis.
A special highlight of this year’s edition will be the reimagined US Open Mixed Doubles Championship, featuring a star-studded line-up of 16 pairs competing for a US$ 1 million prize purse. Headline pairs include Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu, Sinner and Emma Navarro, Świątek and Casper Ruud, Djokovic and Olga Danilovic, and Venus Williams with Reilly Opelka, among others.
